These are images captured during the Beaver County American Legion Championship Game held on July 13, 2011 at New Brighton High School Field. The series was knotted up at 1 game apiece and New Brighton came into the game with a fairly depleted bench. Blackhawk jumped out to a early lead only to have New Brighton pull ahead in the bottom of the 6th. Blackhawk made their own comeback as they re-took the lead in the top of the 7th. New Brighton was able to get 1 baserunner on in the bottom of the 7th, but that was about all it could muster as Blackhawk held on for the win and claimed the Beaver County American Legion Championship.

Both teams are to be commended on a incredible series and incredible playoff run. Each squad qualified for the American Legion Regional Playoffs where the first round is to be played at Shaler High School a few days after this contest.
