7.3.13 - Pittsburgh Pirates vs. Philadelphia Phillies
Some images I was able to capture from our seats during a July 3rd baseball game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Philadelphia Phillies. We were fortunate enough to have really good seats behind the Pirates dugout on the 3rd base line which gave me a good angle for any close plays at home plate.
This was the first Pirates game that I had the opportunity to photograph since covering Terry Francona's first game at Three Rivers Stadium when he played for the Montreal Expos his rookie season in the early 80's. I was in high school at the time and was at that game with my father, Pete Sabella, who was covering the game for the Beaver County Times. Needless to say this brought back a lot of memories for me of a great time spent with my Dad.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to Major League Baseball rules, these photographs are not available for sale. That said, I still hope you like checking them out.
