These are the images captured during a non-conference match up between the Lions of New Brighton and the Gladiators of South Allegheny HS held on 9.13.13 at Oak Hill Field in New Brighton, PA. This was an exciting game as South Allegheny marched down and scored on their first possession, but New Brighton blocked the extra point attempt. Then the Lions came back strong by posting 31 unanswered points to take a commanding 31-6 halftime lead. After a brief let down, the Gladiators drew the score to within 38-25, but New Brighton got back on track and cruised to the 52-25 victory. Scott Florence had a great game as he rushed 21 times for 212 yards and 3 TD's while Gabe Greco completed 12-17 pass attempts for 166 yards (2 TD's) and rushed for 49 yards and another TD.
