Images from the 2012 Beaver Volunteer Fire Department & Heritage Valley Health System 5K/10K Race. This was our 2nd year of photographing this event and let me tell you....what an event it was!!! Over 600 runners/walkers took to the streets on a very comfortable and sunny morning in the beautiful Borough of Beaver, PA. Runners & walkers of all ages and skill levels came out to support the Beaver Volunteer Fire Department who has been faithfully protecting the citizens of Beaver for over 175 Years! Congratulations to all of the winners a big THANK YOU to all of the participants for making this year's event such a wonderful success. VERY IMPORTANT SPECIAL NOTE: A portion of the profits from any photograph purchased in this event benefits the Beaver Volunteer Fire Department. Please support your local Fire Department in any way possible! HOW DO I FIND MY PHOTO?: Go to the gallery with your bib number. If we could not identify a runner (i.e. bib number was on their back, under their shirt, they didn't wear a shirt, etc...), we created a gallery titled "Bib # Unknown". We have also created galleries for the Awards Ceremony and Candid images we captured before, during and after the event. Again, we made every effort to capture as many participants as possible, but in an event such as this, there is a chance we may have missed a few. Hopefully we caught you in action! Also, if you don't like the way a photo is cropped, you can adjust the cropping of any photograph during the checkout process. Images are posted online with some minor post production processing.
