Images captured during a Section 1A match between the Lady Lions of New Brighton and the Lady Panthers of Sewickley Academy held on October 1, 2012 at Nichols Field in Sewickley, PA. This was a tough one for the Lady Lions as they held the Lady Panthers to 1 goal and went into halftime down 1-0. Unfortunately Sewickley Academy showed why they are the 2nd Ranked Team in the WPIAL Class A as they posted 3 more in the 2nd half and cruised to the 4-0 victory over New Brighton. Next up for the New Brighton Girls will be another Section 1-A match against Quigley Catholic HS to be held on October 3rd at Quigley Catholic HS in Baden, PA. Good Luck Lady Lions!
