Images captured during a Section 1A match between the Lady Lions of New Brighton and the Lady Rams of South Side on September 22, 2012 at Richard Ashcroft Stadium at South Side HS. The young South Side squad came out strong and New Brighton just couldn't get on track in the first half of this game as they went into halftime with the score knotted at 0-0. The second half was a much different story as Elaina Smith found the back of the net early on to get the Lady Lions going. She would net a 2nd goal shortly after followed with goals by Kiersten Manor and Brooke Sabella as New Brighton took control and cruised to the 4-0 victory over a young South Side team. Next up for the New Brighton Girls will be Section 1-A match against longtime rival Freedom to be held on September 24th at New Brighton High School Soccer Field. Good Luck Lady Lions!
