Images captured during a Section 1A match between the Lady Lions of New Brighton and the Lady Bulldogs of Freedom on September 24, 2012 at New Brighton High School Soccer Field. The young Lady Lions came out strong and New Brighton jumping out to a 2-0 lead on goals by Kiersten Manor and Elaina Smith. The second half saw Freedom come fighting back as they tied the game at 2-2 with about 5 minutes left in the game. Once again the New Brighton squad showed it's resiliency by taking the lead right back on Leah Kelly's first goal of her High School career. From that point on the Lady Lions controlled the rest of the game and went on for the 3-2 victory. Next up for the New Brighton Girls will be another Section 1-A match against Neshannock HS to be held on September 25th at New Brighton High School Soccer Field. Good Luck Lady Lions!
