Images captured during the Section Opener between the Lady Lions of New Brighton and the Chargers of Our Lady of Sacred Heart (OLSH) held at New Brighton High School Soccer Field on September 5, 2012. This was a phenomenal game between these two talented squads as the young Lady Lions jumped out to a 2-0 lead on goals by Kiersten Manor only to watch OLSH come storming back with 3 tallies of their own to take a 3-2 lead with approximately 10 minutes left. New Brighton would never give up as Elaina Smith found the back of the net with about 5 minutes remaining to tie the match at 3-3. Both teams played hard for 2 Overtime Sessions only to settle for a 3-3 tie in the end. It was a great game by both teams! Next up for the New Brighton Girls will be another division match up against Neshannock HS on Monday, September 10th at 7pm in Neshannock. Good Luck Lady Lions!
